(33 cl bottle from bargain bin @ Toft Vin; BBD: 07/01/15) Pours black with frothy tan head that dissipates quickly leaving a thin film and a thick ringe of lace. Aroma is roasted malt with notes of dust. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium body and a lightly ascerbic, roasted finish. Flavour is balanced and not terribly sweet. Decent porter. From bottle @ HK’s Øl-messe 7th February 2015. Roasted and burnt malts in aroma, licorice. Very dark brown to black colour, huge tan rocky head. Moderate sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, dry texture, avg carb. RexTalionis (3779) - FINLAND - JAN 18, 2015
Bottle. Dark brown with a fluffy tan head. Dark fruityness, dry grainy vibes and notes of cocoa powder in aroma. Dark chocolatey bitterness in taste, even if there’s some milk chocolate sweeter vibes present as well. Some campfire too.
It’s feels a bit dry in mouthfeel. Vague cold coffee notes in the end. More of that soft, but yet quite dark chocolate towards the end. Quite filling considering the abv. Tasty one.

0.33 bottle. Black color and a small, beige head. Strong aroma of dark malts, wood, dark fruits, plums, and licorice. Taste is also sweet and very malty although here the licrocie dominates with its salty character. Medium to full body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Apart from the obvious dark malts finish is also full of somewhat bitter plums and hints of dark chocolate. Overall pretty good beer; it gets bonus points for that excellent plum aroma and flavor. brnandersen (4066) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2014
33 cl. bottle from Systembolaget. Pitch black with a huge, fluffy tanned head. Roasted aroma with coffee, nuts, chocolate, bread, caramel and dark malts, liquorice. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted with coffee and chocolate. Very enjoyable Porter. Karstenborg (1113) - Hasselager, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2014
Almost black color with medium beige head. Aroma is smoke, toffee and malt. Taste is malt, caramel and roasted malt. Hopmaestro (1717) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 11, 2014
It has a pretty strong aroma of roasted malts and you get some hints of nuts in there (the ones who grows on bushes/trees, not the... well..). When you taste it you get the standard roasted malts, maybe a bit more peat (smoke), caramels leading into a very dry finish. There is a light hoppiness in here also. Pretty standard Porter if you ask me, even if it is above average. It’s OK, nothing more, nothing less. DSG (15119) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - NOV 7, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks troubles. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, licorice and a bit of fruitiness. Flavor has light sweetness, but is rather dry, roasty, with some coffee and a bit of licorice. Finishes quite bitter. Medium-bodied.
