Bottled 330ml. -Deep black coloured, small brown head, chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate and mild smoke with hint of dark fruits. Smooth and pleasant. Dry bitter finish. Foffern (1877) - Bodø, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2013
Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a deep brown colour, with a small light beige head. Roasted aroma of soy sauce, coffee, dark chocolate and something reminiscent of hobby glue (?!). In the taste I find more roasted malt and coffee with beech, particularly dark chocolate and forest. Have a smooth and full bodied mouthfeel, and a light to medium bitterness. The beer has nice roasted notes, good balance and is a great porter.
