Tap. Pours a clear gold body with a wispy white head that left some light lace. The nose is clean bready malt with a light lemony smack of hops. The flavor is pretty decent, a little heavier than their Helles, a little sweeter, a hint of fruitiness. Nice hop level, decent flavor with minimal bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Lingering lightly bitter finish. Pretty decent stuff. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Draft at Pottstown, on a low keg, so get this while it lasts, slackers. Pours hazy dark straw colored with off-white head. Nose of grainy pale malt, solid hops, mild fruit. Tastes somewhat sweet, pale malty, with an assertive hop bite and a complex, crisp finish. This lager held its own in a sampler next to the brewer’s select pale and Columbia pale. egajdzis (6830) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Deep amber color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweeter caramel, nuts, and fresh baked bread. Taste of much of the same, on the sweeter side with a bready finish.
