UPDATED: JAN 11, 2011 Draft at SFP. Poured medium brown with nose of strong coffee, dark malt. Tastes medium on the palate, with a big coffee ground taste and some dark malt and Brazil nut notes. Finishes like strong black coffee with some malt and hop notes. FROTHINGSLOSH (7901) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 2, 2017
Sampled on draft this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was roasty brewed coffee and cream. The flavor was dryish with brewed coffee and cream. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Meh. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Tap. Pours a clear dark brown body with a wispy beige head. The nose is coffee dominated with some chocolate and light roast. The flavor is a bit lighter on the coffee with more chocolate malt and just a light citrusy note from the hops. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Decent coffee beer. egajdzis (6626) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2010 Dark brown with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, burnt wood, and a touch of vanilla bean. Taste of roasted malt, light smoke, heavy coffee, and a dry finish. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2013
This one poured a darker red color with a fluffy nitro beige head. Aroma was of lots of coffee, some latte mliky notes and light earthy tones. Flavor was much the same, just straight coffee and lightly toasted malts, nothing else getting in the way. A great session coffee beer.

Not bad for a coffee porter. On tap at the bocktown. Nice dark pour. Decent creamy head. Smells like good coffee, what else? Good coffee taste without going over the top. Not rude at all. Decent co2. Some black coffee bitter in the finsh, but that’s to be expected. An easy beer to like. Must be less than 5%. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2010
Draught at the BrewPub’s 15 Anniversary Party: Aroma of bitter coffee. Poured deep amber/brown in color with a small, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Not sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of bitter coffee and light cream. Medium body. Lightly thin, then dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, coffee and cream finish is dry.

Tap at both locations. Pours a brownish amber with a medium creamy off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of fresh cold pressed coffee, nuts, caramel and hints of vanilla. REally well done coffee aroma. Flavor of the same coffee, some chocolate and nuts/caramel poking through. A little thin on the body. Reminded me much more of a coffee brown ale. Not quite on par with a porter. alobar (3833) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 17, 2011
Dark brown pour with a strong coffee aroma. Flavor is mostly coffee with hints of roasted malt and chocolate. Really nice beer. reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Pours deep brown with a medium tan head. Aroma has nice light roasted coffee...like a breakfast roast. Flavor is good coffee...bitter and roasty. Mouthfeel is light and a bit thin with a fresh roasted coffee finish.
