Sampled at the Noogfest High 5. Can poured a clear medium amber with small ring of whitish head. Smells of caramel and a flavor follows, but has a little metallic quality. Pretty mediocre, but I do appreciate the cool can. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - JUL 10, 2009
Can. Dark copper body with a white head. Sweet chewy malty caramel with an earth y hop bitterness. Thin and dry with a hint of toffee and lemon to finish. Decent. NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - APR 23, 2009
Draft at Jet Rock Bar. Poured crystal clear amber in color with a pure white head. It has a caramely sweet aroma. The taste is smooth, sweet, notes of cereal grains and sweet caramel. Tasty. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - APR 10, 2009
Can. Pours a clear amber with a 3 finger off-white head. that results in spotty lacing The nose is brown sugar, caramel and grain. The taste is caramel and grain with some faint earthy hops in the finish. Medium bodied. Decent Dunkel. DrBayern (1139) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - FEB 27, 2009
Can from Steve E. Tawny copper, light beige head, reasonable lace. Malt dominated aroma of caramel and grain, maybe some slight spice. Medium to light body with carbonation to match, and a smooth feel. As expected, the slightly sweet flavor dominates with the gentlest of bittering providing balance. Drinkable, a good session beer.

Had on draft. A dark brown appearance with a very small head. Caramel malt dominated the aroma. Taste was of caramel and bready malt with a slight hop bitterness on the finish. yesyouam (1016) - Fairport, New York, USA - JAN 2, 2009
Sly Fox Dunkel Lager is a very clear amber beer with no visible carbonation. The head is a dense white foam that leaves nice lacing and has great retention. It has a very faint aroma like pretzels or dough. It is medium bodied and smooth with a sharp finish. It has a simple flavor, with good bitterness. It is crisp and dry and makes for easy drinking. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - DEC 28, 2008
Can, thanks to Ty5592. Pours clear bright amber with a lacy beige head. Aroma and taste of caramel and roasted nuts, with floral hops around the edges. Crisp earthy finish.
