Tap. I always look forward to another in the Sly Fox varietal IPA’s and this doesn’t disappoint. a bit fruity, slightly resiny, somewhat herbal aroma. balanced and drinkable as always. Nice. PilsnerPeter (3050) - Flushing, New York, USA - OCT 16, 2008
Tap at Barcade: Pours a deep copper with some clarity and a creamy off-white film of head. Great fruity hop aroma with berries, mango, syrupy orange zest, sweet resins and an underlying fresh malt balance. Has some creamy and dense carbonation. Generously hopped flavor, possessing both fruitiness and bitterness. Sweet underlying caramel and toasted pale malts hold up the extreme hop character of hemp, berryish fruits, orange, lychee, and a piny inky long bitter finish. Extremely long, bitter and dry, but it has dimension. Nice IPA. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - SEP 17, 2008
On tap at the Royersford location. Pours a mostly translucent amber with lots of golden notes and a medium creamy off white head that left lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, orange slice, fresh hops, light pine and toasted malt. Flavor of toasted malt, caramel, pine, considerable hop bitterness and grapefruit. Clear orange color with great lacing and minimal carbonation. Lite fruity aroma and flavor. light roasted and toasy notes. Bitter finish. Eyedrinkale (3235) - Astoria, New York, USA - AUG 1, 2007
Draft @ HDG. Nothing wrong with this stuff. Looks great in the glass, has a nice grassy aroma and a nice dryness in the finish. Balances almost perfectly, showcasing the hop very well.

Draft. Less than a strong hop presence one expects from an IPA. Cloudy, amber pour with average, frothy head. Light malt aroma — bread and molasses. Just a hint of resiny hop and citrus. More sweet than bitter in flavor. Average carbonation and medium to full body. Sweet malts dominate this IPA, bringing it down a few notches for me. scraff (2125) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 19, 2007
Draft - Hop Devil Grill - Dark amber, creamy off white head. Nose held notes of soft grassy tropical fruit and lighter biscuit and pepper tones. Well bittered up front with more peppered grapefruit rind and grassy notes. Not much malt to speak of here. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Not bad, not great... mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - APR 26, 2007
On tap at HDG. Amber in color with a nice fluffy white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is very faint. Hoppy malty flavor. Earthy, citrusy notes. Finish is bitter. Dry tasting. Medium bodied. Ok beer. Drinkable. JoeMcPhee (9553) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 24, 2007
Tap at Barcade. Amber coloured beer with a thick white head. Very faint aroma (as with several of these Sly Fox IPA projects) with a bit of earthiness, dusty pale malt. The flavour shows a bit of berry, dry woodiness and a hint of tree bark/resin. I guess Galena isn’t a terribly tasty hop. A touch of cooling mintiness on the back, but the beer itself doesn’t really do it for me. JB175 (1665) - Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 15, 2007
Amber color with small-med white head. Crisp, citrusy hop aroma. Taste was smooth, clean and crisp - very pleasant citrus with an almost melon-like taste mixed in. Another good single-hop IPA from Sly Fox!
