At the 2014 Goat Races. Sweet, malty, grassy aroma. Flavor follows. The finish is spicy, grassy, hoppy, strong and astringent. Clear, clear gold, white head. Really a concentrated version of their helles bock Nice. ganache (5853) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Tap inside at yesterday’s goat races in Phoenixville. Bright apple juice golden with legs and a short white head, smooth light malt body with light-medium sweetness, light apple and strong white grape, pleasant honey overtones. Somehow they’ve managed almost exactly the same flavor as the regular, but with a thicker body and more alcohol -- would have thought some flaws would have crept in. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 5, 2013

06 Goat Races. Pour was a medium bodied, golden color with a small white foam. Somewhat earthy aroma followed by a little citrus and maybe some honey. Flavor is also a bit earthy with a good bit of honey and some grassy hops in the finish. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2006
On tap at Sly Fox Phoenixville, 2006 goat races, approx. 5 oz, served in a wine glass. Poured a bright golden yellow with a small creamy white head. Aroma is of sweet pale malt, with light alcohol, and a slightly husky graininess aspect. Flavor follows the aroma for the most part, sweet malt, with more of the husky graininess and grassy hops. Mouthfeel was full bodied and slightly sticky with minimal carbonation. Overall, I thought that this one was a little harsh. The alcohol was fairly well hidden though. It really didn’t surprise me that I wasn’t the biggest fan of this one, as I don’t especially care for their Helles Lager to start with. weeare138 (936) - Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 8, 2006
On tap at the ’06 goat race.
Apears a glowing orange gold with a small white cap that slowly fades into a small collar. Tiny bubbles slowly rise to the top. Little spots of lacing are all over the glass.
Smell is grassy, earthy, spicey, with notes of dough, honey, and citrus.
Taste is of the aromas listed above with a mild hop presence coming through.
Mouthfeel is crisp, bubbly on the tongue, and medium bodied. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - MAY 7, 2006
