12oz can with seriously cool ring-pull. Light golden. Corn and grain in the aroma, bit of light spice, and some sweetish biscuit. Light grain and creamy biscuity malt in the taste, bit of light herb. Crisp finish. Tasty, uncomplicated stuff to be had cold on a warm day.

12 Oz Can from Redmonds. Brilliant clear gold, big fluffy white head. Pale malt, white bread, touch of cinnamon, touch of citrus in the aroma. Flavour is easy going lager, highlights of sweet banana, quite dry on the palette, real easy drinking. Short finish. A refreshing, fresh lager best enjoyed in the sun.

Can from Cotteridge Wines, Brum. Clear gold thin white head. Does exactly what it says on the tin quite literally to be honest. Easy drinking, pale malts are ok, aroma is ok, some hop on finish. Altogether well constructed. Gold and refreshing. Good Helles.

Can from BMart. When you open this the whole top peels off the can. Not sure I see the benefit to that. Anyway, nice golden color with a fluffy white head. Theres bread, cereal, toasted grains, and grassy hops in the aroma. The flavor follows. Sweet initially from bready, corn, and grain notes. Its balanced by some bitter grassy hops on the back end. Maybe a slight hint of lemon. As the case with many Helles, a little on the sweet side, but this certainly fits as a solid summer lager to kick back with.

Can from Appellation Wines. Good lagery nose - cooked vegetables, sweet cereal crops. tastes brings out some light lemon notes. Creamy palate, but a little too astringent on the finish for me. Good interpretation of the style though.

Can from Appellation Wines, Edinburgh [280613]
Golden, clear, no head (drunk from can)
Aroma of sweet pale light lager malt, sweet cereal
Taste as aroma, soft bit spicy lager hops. soft cereals, dull
Palate - Medium carb, medium light body, quite oily, fairly sweet palate. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Better than a standard lager but was boring and dull for me
