Draft at DRE 1Q 2011. Gold pour with white head. Nose was lemongrassy hope, pale malt, mild funky yeasty notes, with malty, yeasty esters, and some spicy pepperyt flavors. Not a true saison, but not bad. kramer (6905) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 3, 2011
On tap, Royersford. Pours a clear gold body with a small wispy white head that fell to partial covering. The nose is spicy and laced with lemongrass and lemon zest, rather clean smelling for a Saison. The flavor is fairly dry and spicy with ome fairly aggressive spiciness. I generally don’t dig ginger in my beer. Light bodied and fizzy with a long lingering finish. A lot cleaner and more spicy than what I prefer for the style, and not enough yeast character. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 18, 2010
Draft. Pours gold with a thin white head. The aroma has some light fruity sweetness, yeasty spice, apricot, and a hint of lemon. The flavor is spicy and floral, with a hint of ginger. Not bad. obxdude10 (2374) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2010
Not a bad saison beer from the Sly Fox. I sampled this on draft at their relatively new restaurant in Phoenixville. I think their Saison Vos is slightly better, as this offering was a bit more dry and a little less flavorful. The beer poured a slightly hazy dark golden color with a minimal white head. The head didn’t leave all that much lacing around the glass. The nose had a ton of fruit notes, along with some yeast and light bread. The finish was a bit dry and a little spicy. egajdzis (6730) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 8, 2010
Hazy golden color with a small, white head that left no lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, pils malt, banana, toast, some toffee, ginger, lemon, and spices. Taste of citrus, toffee malt, earthy yeast, lemon, and a dry, peppery finish.

Growler from Sly Fox Pville. Pours a hazy golden with a medium bubbly/creamy white head. Aroma of saison yeast notes, bready malt, ginger, hints of lemon and other herbal notes. Flavor of ginger, lemon, hop bitterness, saison spicy notes and dry bready malt. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 6, 2010
Draught at the Phoenixville BrewPub: Aroma of lemon, citrus, and slight ginger. Poured yellow/gold in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very slightly sparkling. Some large particles throughout. Good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of lemon, pollen, Belgian yeast, general Saison, grain, and a hint of pepper. Medium body. Dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Grain, Belgian yeast, and slight lemon finish is dry.
