4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Possibly un-retired? Black with tan head. Aromas of roast and chocolate. Tastes of dark chocolate, malt, caramel, light booze, bitter roast. Medium body with a dry finish. Damico (3146) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 6, 2016
Pours thick unclear blackish with a dark caramel colored head. Aroma brings some raw dough, bottles 3 years ago. Flavor is chocolatey with some aged yeast that has held up okay and charred roasty malts at the end.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a snifter. Black with smaller beige head. Aroma is ash, medium body, medium carbonation, and a little lacing. Taste is chocolate and ash. JDBaker11058 (2427) - Maryland, USA - MAR 6, 2016
appearance: dark brown to black, one finger of creamy tan head. aroma: hugely aromatic; tons of sweet dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel, molasses, licorice, and plums. taste: bittersweet dark chocolate, sweet bourbon, molasses and prunes and plums and some raisin; undertone of roasty coffee and black bread. finish:lasting sweetness fades, leaving general chocolate, roast, and a hint of black licorice. notes: Unbelievably good. ABV incredibly well-hidden. Flavors and aroma were excellent. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club, aged for 2+ years, which may have mellowed things out a bit. This was special.
