On tap at the Blind Tiger in NYC. Poured a deep orangey brown, ok head for the abv, even some lacing on the way down. The aroma was fruity, grapes, sweet malts. The flavor was white grapey fruity, caramel, candy, rich, alcohol a little sharp, yet the zing finish was somewhat balancing to the sweet malts. The mouthfeel was full, a touch sticky sweet, not bad, though.
Pours a hazy amber with a medium off white head. Aroma has dusty apples...hint of a white wine. Flavor is sweet and fruity...apple forward...mild vegetal notes...light brown sugar. Mouthfeel is full and syrupy with a caramely/sugary and leather finish. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Pours a transparent reddish color with copper tones and a slightly off white head. The nose has lots of sugar, caramel and some light citric hop notes. The flavor has burnt caramel malts, lots of sugar, a resigny oily hop and light citric note. Full bodied and syrupy, a touch oily and a bit off carbonation. Has some balnace and is drinkable but overly sweet and a few unpleasantries. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 22, 2011

Time to catch up before BCTC. Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Throwdown. Thank to everyone who brought great beer and ribs and pickles and everything! Orange amber. Fruity hoppy orange spicy aroma. Fruity caramel nuts orange spicy aroma. Good. italarican (1546) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 9, 2009
Pours a dark bronze with moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel and hops. Some initial sweetness of caramel and malt turn to a fruity hoppy finish. Slight alcohol rush at the end. I don’t know. I definitely could drink this, but I think my description is more exciting than the beer itself. LilBeerDoctor (3904) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2009
Growler at PPRBSG09. Pours a cloudy brown with a small head. Aroma and flavor of sweet acetone, sweet fruits, and sweet malt. I really couldn’t get anything more out of this...and I didn’t care for it either.
