Can from trade with Brian. Snifter at home. Pours a clear gold with a one finger white head. Some lacing. Aroma is bread, cereal, whole grains, hay. The taste is solid grains, bread, cheerios, grass and alfalfa. Light body and moderate carb. Slight bitter ending. Very nice pils.

From Mar 2007

Pours from 12oz can(room temp) a hazy straw gold with a huge head of foam that takes a long time to diminish and leaves a solid layer with lacing. Nice looking Pilsner.

The smell is hoppy with some malty notes as well.

The taste is nice and hoppy but not over the top. There's citrus there, mainly lemon, with a nice malt backbone. Very well balanced indeed and that makes it so smooth and drinkable. The finish starts off slightly bitter but ends cris and clean. The German influence can readily be tasted in this Pilsner...wow, I like this one a lot!!

Bottom line: A *great* Pilsner that would make an oustanding session beer for me if it was available locally.

Big thanks go out to Nutbrown for this sample!

Taster at the Third Avenue Ale House, Upper East Side, New York City. Pours golden with a small white head. OK but too sweet for me.

Blind tasted with 5 other pilsners. Pilsners were 1. Fordham Dilated Pupilz 2. Moody Tongue Apertif 3. Breckenridge Summer Pils 4. Sly Fox Pikeland Pilsner 5. Itaipava Pilsen 6. Evolution Craft DelMarVa Pure Pils. Rater 1 rated the beers 136425 rater 2 (ME) rated 163425.

355ml can. Light clear gold pour. Pleasant aroma, nothing worng, herbal, light malt, delish. Flavor is a bit earthy and metallic but pleasant, herbs, citcric, chakly, and malt.

Post tasting thoughts:

They were going for a prima clone, this one isn’t as hop-intrusive, decent.

-pours a hazy straw golden with a big, foamy, white head
-medium carbonation visible
-candied lemon,grassy,spicy,white wine,pears,green apple
-Follows the nose plus sweet Honey, golden Syrup and Soap
-Finishes dry
-medium to high bitterniss for the style
-medium carbonation
-light to medium body
A really good Pils overall, but it’s noticeably sweeter and fruitier than the North German Examples it tries to emulate.

Great white head and lacing; golden color from a draft pour. Cold, refreshing taste and finish. Perfect finish to a spring afternoon’s cleanup of the yard. Cheers!

ManVsBeer (10969) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2016
Can from Booths, Media City. Yellow-blonde with a small head. Has an interesting fusion of lager malts and fruit, with the latter of these providing a fair amount of flavour.

gripweed57 (2914) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - FEB 21, 2016
12 ounce can. Pale gold color. Large rocky white head. Grainy malt nose. Sweet grainy malt flavor. Slightly bready with a crisp hop character. Some fruity malt, but the noble hops are quite noticeable. A nice interpretation of a Euro Pils.
