Poured hazy yellow with little head. Aroma of spice and some citrus. Lots of spice flavor with some citus background. Had some sweet character here and there. More spice than anything.
This poured a clear.golden.color with a white head. Aroma was of a blegian yeast, light fruit and light spice. Flavor similar, a little overly sweet and lacking in the body, but decent. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 19, 2013

Pours a clear with a thin white head. Aroma has a hint of grass and some nice hoppy spice. Flavor has hints of fruit and candy sugar with nice grassy spice. Mouthfeel is medium/full...very silky...nice grassy/dry pils like finish. cheap (5893) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2013
On tap at the bocktown. Taste is alittle mild for a strong ale but a medical buikds thru the session. Fairly flat, I don’t detect any co2 at all. Not sure what to think of this bitter medicine. Needs some manners, even for a strong ale. I must say tho, it does try to fool you on the initial taste, comes across rather friendly then bites you inthe ass. transparent gold, lacing white head. Dusty yeast and citrus nose becomes heavy bubblegum, ethanol, and peppery yeast finish in flavor. Soft carbonation leaves it oppressive.

Pours golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast and candii sugar with hint of citrus. Belgian yeast, spice, and candii sugar dominate the flavor with hints of citrus. Good beer! kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 21, 2009
From a 3L bottle, via beastiefan2k. Pours a very cloudy gold body with a nice frothy white head. The nose is mostly bready malt, light spices, and heavy yeast with a bit of oxidation. The flavor is tasting a little bit over the hill, there’s some cardboard creeping in on the edges. Very yeasty and bready with caramel and a touch of candi sugar coming out especially on the finish. Soft and fizzy on the palate with a nice yeast slurry texture. Overall, not bad, but not a favorite from Sly Fox. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 16, 2009
