Draft at the Phoenixville location, July 2006. An unclear orange beer with a rim of off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light wheaty notes as well as light notes of banana. The flavor has a weird light burnt note, combined with notes of wheat, banana, and oranges.

Cloudy beige/tan, with large bubbles and a large head. Aroma of pear and slightly sweaty yeast. Flavour is balanced with some moderate sweetness, covered by yeastiness. Finishes with a hint of wheaty tartness. Full body, spritzy at the end. OK, but not really hitting the high notes I want from the style (esp in terms of malt sweetness and estery/phenolic complexity). Thanks, John!
