Can from Cotteridge Wines, Brum. Hazy orange gold with lasting white head. Bananary estery aroma. Tasty weisse. Not complicated but good flavours and some ripe banana on end. Not much hop Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 23, 2007
Cloudy beige/tan, with large bubbles and a large head. Aroma of pear and slightly sweaty yeast. Flavour is balanced with some moderate sweetness, covered by yeastiness. Finishes with a hint of wheaty tartness. Full body, spritzy at the end. OK, but not really hitting the high notes I want from the style (esp in terms of malt sweetness and estery/phenolic complexity). Thanks, John!
