Aroma: very nice, standard IPA aroma, hops, citrus, and a bit of funk. 9 out of 10.
Visuals: brilliant, clear golden copper. thin white head, long lacing. 5 out of 5.
Taste: lagerish beginning, hoppy, bitter, well crafted. 8 out of 10.
Palate: long bitter finish, rough texture. 5 out of 5.
Overall: Like many other great IPAs, but dark in nature, and a beautifully deep finish. I’d love to have it again, and it was very well crafted. 18 out of 20.

650ml bottle. Awesome rich sweet hop aroma that invites you in. Deep orange colour with a good sized head. Long lingering hop flavour with piney resinous aftertaste. A great beer. Alusmamuts (1984) - LATVIA - JUN 5, 2013
Dark amber-broown with rich white (a bit yellow) cap. Balances rich tste with strong rich bitterness on the tongue route. jesperhammer (4736) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2014
26-SEP-2014, bottle @home, from Barley Wine. Very hazy orange with lasting, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma is really hoppy and sweet. Is this really an IPA? Feels a lot more like an IIPA. Very fruity hops. Not that grape fruit bomb I was expecting.
Taste is hops with orange peel, over ripe exotic fruits and then tons of malt with caramel and bread.
Earthy, licor-like. Full body, soft carbonation. Fruit bomb with sweet malt backbone. Fantastic. Easily an IIPA. Sregnar35 (1030) - Rotterdam, New York, USA - JAN 8, 2013
On tap at the abbey. Pours orange with a frothy head. Aroma is super sweet and fruity. Flavor is grape tangy candy, amaze sweet tang.
