3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
THOUGHTS: Not at all my cup of beer. Not much balance at all. Nice hop bomb, but not enough malt to make it enjoyable to drink. Seems like there might be some rye in there. If there is they should really promote that. Fairly British. My can said it was 7% ABV not 6.6 as listed here.
TECHNICAL: Can. Poured an ever so slightly, hazy, dark, reddish amber that looked like a very old and dirty penny. It also had an average to large, off-white head that mostly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma had heavy dark bread, grain and something like rye; moderate pine, spruce, and earthy hops; light orange rind hops; and a little tobacco. It should be nice but something is off-putting to me. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and light to moderately bitter; while the finish was lightly sweet and nearly harshly bitter with a long duration. There was citrus, rye, dark bread, grains, pine, spruce, and citrus rinds. The medium body was rather dry with lightly fizzy carbonation and a metallic finish.
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2017 This is the best tasting beer in a can. Normally it's draft or bottle. This one is the exception. raymow (1732) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2017
can - nice amber color. Slight hop and malt aroma. Very hoppy, slightly sweet flavor. Voodoo (696) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2017
Pours a deep amber with a pillowy white head which lingers....aroma of malt, touch of pine, a bit earthy without being dank......taste is malty, citrus, very slight tropical fruit, nice bitterness, tailing off into hop notes on the back end. Quite enjoyable and solid. stevoj (5438) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 17, 2017
Draft at brewery. Amber body, aroma perfect blend of malt and hops. Taste Ramos up the bitterness, but still some caramel malts in there. Dry bitterness lingers. snoworsummer (5961) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 24, 2017
From a can. Pours clear bright copper with a thick, frothy beige head. Tastes like toffee malt, toast, grapefruit hops, and dry citrus. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like toffee malt, toast, grapefruit hops, and citrus fruits.

Transfer from old rating system. Very basic. Easy to drink. Not too heavy, not too light. Tap at brewery. hershiser2 (3595) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - DEC 7, 2016
Can from Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is a combo of floral and citrus hops and caramel, smells syrupy. Taste is very bitter grapefruit peel, some syrupy notes, caramel, floral hops, lemon peel. Not my favorite IPA. Bawelt (874) - Lyon, FRANCE - SEP 25, 2016
Clear amber color with beige head. Aroma is mostly malty with caramel notes and toasted malt. Also some sweet orange peel and earthy hops. Taste starts with caramel malt, burnt sugar, finish has a bittersweet orange flavor with a slight resiny aftertaste. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. It’s not bad at all but it’s too malty for my taste. hrabren (1366) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 10, 2016
0.33 l can from Pivoteka. Copper red, medium off-white head, lacing. Floral aroma, honey, meadow, very aromatic. Sweet, toasty, biscuit, bitter kick, alcohol hidden. Quite refreshing, lasting bitter finish. Very tasty, for those who like bitter AIPAs especially. This one stands out greatly!
