Delicious and refreshing saison...not strong and cloying like the trend seems to be with this style. Aroma was a little weak. Light pilsener malt with heavy yeast character. Pour was a nice hazy light yellow with a two finger white head. Taste was nice and crisp. Heavy yeast and pilsener malt with a nice strong biting carbonation. No flavor dominates the other and the mild noble hops provide just enough of a spicy dry finish. Nice beer. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 11, 2014
Bottle at Earl of Essex, Lindon. Hazy pale yellow beer with a decent white head. Fruity hop aroma, floral, hay, perfume, grapes, lemongrass, some peach. Sourish fruity flavor, grassy, perfume, mango, some hay. Decent beer. Ferris (15272) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 11, 2014
Bottle - Light banana, citrus, grass and clove. Clear gold with a rich head. Effervescent, sweet yeasty esters, orange and a nice slight clove finish. Lively and refreshing. obguthr (6354) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUL 10, 2014
Caramel, apple, funk aroma. Clear golden, thin head. Apple and lemon, dry. Not a whole lot going on and tame for the style. No off flavors though.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Ed. Dusty yellow, bright body with a bone white head that fluffs up nicely but recedes very quickly. Aroma contains apple skins with a mild tartness, some gummy yeast, bread, & a little bit of clove & minty spice esters in the finish. Taste follows closely with lots of yeast, apple skins, biscuit malt, & a hint of funky tartness. Brett, maybe? Touch of hay & a hint of clove in the finish. Dry. A little uneventful, nothing doing, really, but not bad, either. Decent. williamstome (1875) - Somerville, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 18, 2014
Pale straw pour. Light, spicy aroma. Flavor has some spice and yeast notes, but body is a little thin. Overall this just isn’t a very good saison. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - MAY 19, 2014

Appearance – A medium golden body with a slight off-white head. The head is filled with large carbonation bubbles and upon fading leaves a bit of lacing on the side of the glass.
Smell – The smell is largely fruity up front, with nice citrus and some more tropical aromas. There is a biscuit-malty aroma toward the middle which is mixed in with an ever so slight astringent “funky” aroma.
Taste – A little on the sour side initially with some lemon and citrus. The more subdued sourness gives way to some hoppy and sweeter flavors toward the middle - sweeter citrus fruits with some more tropical’s; orange, mango, sweet lemon (lemonade) and even a little sweet apple. These sweet flavors are mixed with some yeasty flavors and a more sour green apple-lemon flavor, which come into play and rounds out the flavor profile.
Mouthfeel – A lighter bodied beer with a moderate to fairly high level of carbonation. The carbonation suits the beer quite nicely with the lighter body making it quite drinkable, although its thickness is lacking a little bit and it could use a bit more.
Overall – A nice “wild” brew. A little thin in the body which when mixed with the sourness makes it taste a little like an ale with a bit of lemon squeezed in (but just a bit; overall it is vastly better than this). It is well worth a try.

750mL bottle. Very grainy. Crisp and simple, but very nice. Dry. It's kinda like Budweiser in the finish.

Appearance: slightly hazy yellow/orange/gold, with a bright, fluffy white head that lasted forever, and with generous lacing. Aroma: smells awesome--big juicy-tart citrus (lemon, orange, some grapefruit), with notes of grass, honey, light clove, and slightly phenolic yeast. Taste: delicious--citrus, green apples, honey, crackery malts, white bread, a nice yeasty funk, and a subtle black peppery bite. Finish: tart, leaving a slight pucker, with a nice bit of citrus and spice, with a slightly dry champagne like palate. Notes: Oh man, I couldn’t wait to rate this beer. Absolutely wonderful. One of my favorite American saisons. What a find, would absolutely drink again.
