750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 1/27/2014. Pours lightly hazy bright golden color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big apple skin, pear, lemon zest, grape, grass, straw, floral, clove, light honey, bread, funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of big pear, apple, lemon zest, pepper, clove, grape, light honey, grass, straw, bread, light funk, floral, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, grass, straw, clove, pepper, floral, funk, light honey, bread, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome balance and complexity of fruity/spicy/funky yeast flavors; with a good malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth and crisp mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent saison style! All around excellent balance and complexity of yeast ester flavors with moderate malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

A very nice saison - a style which I typically don’t like. A very pleasant floral aroma w/ a deep golden pour. It has a thin white head that leaves decent lacing. The taste is refreshing w/ a good amount of flavor. Smooth & drinkable at nearly 7%. Pretty good stuff!

Stamped 11/18/13, I assume best before November 18, 2013
Appearance: The body is a beautifully clear golden amber with a towering white foamy head. The head has decent retention and dissipates very unevenly.
Aroma: The aroma is spot on for what I expect from a saison, dry, spicy, hay, semi-sweet malts, and a touch of citrus. I enjoy this.
Taste: Sightly malty from the start Saison Vos reveals nice subtleties throughout of sweet leaning citrus to a light peppery overtone that lingers through the finish. This is great.
Palate: Full bodied with lively carbonation, slightly sharp.
Overall: This is a great saison, well worth buying again. If this were in cans in 6 packs I would buy it a lot this Summer.

Bottle from Whole Foods Devon. Pours hazy orange with a small white head that is gone very quickly. There is a lot of small carbonation bubbles in the glass. The aroma has a bit of a citrus note.. maybe lemon.. light orange? and a good bit of Belgian yeast funk. The taste is dry, funky, and has a bit of lemon zest. Good and cheap!

AirForceHops (7326) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 17, 2012
Draft @ Phoenixville location on 15 Oct 2012 got a 10 oz. pour. Pale, clear yellow color. Average carbonation without much head. Nose is a mild wheat, grain and light spice. Flavor fell right in line with the aroma’s. Very thin body. I don’t know, something about this just really didn’t do it for me. Either I’m missing something or I wasn’t in the mood for it. I would order the Grisette before thinking about this one. Not bad in anyway maybe I will give it another try at a later date.
