A: The pour is a slightly hazed golden orange color with a huge white head that eventually settles down. S: A strong aroma of apple and pear. There’s plenty of orange peel, grass, wet hay, and coriander. There’s a moderate malt character to it, providing a bit of lightly toasted bread notes. T: More sweet fruits such as the apples and pears. A definite bitterness that seems to be from an orange peel sort of flavor. There’s just a touch of sugar along with some white pepper and pale, cracker malts. M: The body is medium with a high level of carbonation and a slightly dry finish. D: The peppery note on the flavor and the wet hay aroma are a bit strong, but otherwise this was not bad.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours medium gold with tiny bubbles and a four finger frothy white head. Mildly funky aroma. Medium body with sparkling carbonation. Flavor is funky and yeasty. Maybe a tad musty. Finishes that way. Farmhouse it is. Good stuff.

(750ml bottle, thanks Shadrach) The bottle oozed white foam as soon as the cork popped, and it gradually was replaced in the glass by a hazy lemon yellow body. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, some floral, light lemon/grass. Taste is medium sweet, orange, spicy, some clove, pepper, light dusky. Fairly dry finish. Creamy medium body.

The smell is a bit barnyard, with lots of malt behind it. The taste, from a medium plus mouthfeel,is hoppy and mildly spicey, and is a bit astringent in the finish.Drinkable though not best of style.Orange with off-white head.
