Some light sweetness, banana, clove, pepper, grass. Mild funk underneath, bitter finish. Not bad.

750 bottle. Lightly hazy, pale gold body sports an enormous, towering, pillowy head with incredible hang time. Complex spicy and yeasty aromatics with nuances of white and szechuan peppercorns, floral and barnyard notes, ginger, wheat, and clove. Flavorwise, the beer fails to impress, with subtle crisp buttery/rye cracker malt, wet slate, watermelon rind, soap, nutmeg and fresh cilantro leaves. Thin, airy, foamy palate. The long mild aftertaste is a little spicy and a lot metallic. A real letdown after that great bouquet.

Draft in Phoenixville. Poured hazy golden yellow in color with a white frothy head. Aroma of dough, citrus, and mild hops. Tastes of bready yeast, doughy, citrus hops, and mild spices throughout. Overall pretty earthy with a dry finish.

Aroma is a lot of hay and a huge yeastyness. Flavor is hay, bread dough/funky belgian yeastyness, with some slight fruit esters. I made a saison and had the yeast explode in my face and this is what it smelled like. If you like the yeast you will like this one.

Pours a hazy straw, with a big white head. Initially strange aroma full of grass, spices, and sourness. Flavor is full of earthy undertones, lemon, grass, yeast, spices. Not the most perfectly balanced saison but certainly a good value.

on draft at the brewery. Cloudy blonde with medium head. Spicy coriander and clove with some bitterness. Smooth, decent. However something seems off, maybe something is lacking.

Spicy, not as sweet as others, yeast character a little overpowering........

Bottle at Bulls Head in Lititz, PA. Champagne aroma. Golden yellow body with tall fluffy head. Very crisp, dry and champagne like. Light pale malts, hints of hops well balanced by a slightly spicy yeast. An excellent saison

Hazy golden straw pour with a massive, bubbly, frothy, rocky white head. Spice, yeast, and lots of citrus aroma. Spicy, bitter-sweet lemon and orange peel citrus, and some peppery-notes in the finish. Palate is medium, quite carbonated, and a bit tart. My kind of saison, quite complex, a bit vinous, and overall pretty well-balanced.
