Pours a hazy straw, with a big white head. Initially strange aroma full of grass, spices, and sourness. Flavor is full of earthy undertones, lemon, grass, yeast, spices. Not the most perfectly balanced saison but certainly a good value.

on draft at the brewery. Cloudy blonde with medium head. Spicy coriander and clove with some bitterness. Smooth, decent. However something seems off, maybe something is lacking.

SETANTA (582) - Bangor, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2002
Spicy, not as sweet as others, yeast character a little overpowering

EvanFriend (581) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2015
Some light sweetness, banana, clove, pepper, grass. Mild funk underneath, bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottle at Bulls Head in Lititz, PA. Champagne aroma. Golden yellow body with tall fluffy head. Very crisp, dry and champagne like. Light pale malts, hints of hops well balanced by a slightly spicy yeast. An excellent saison

Hazy golden straw pour with a massive, bubbly, frothy, rocky white head. Spice, yeast, and lots of citrus aroma. Spicy, bitter-sweet lemon and orange peel citrus, and some peppery-notes in the finish. Palate is medium, quite carbonated, and a bit tart. My kind of saison, quite complex, a bit vinous, and overall pretty well-balanced.

Bottle. I also think that this beer is highly underrated. One of the best to come out of america in my opinion as well. The banana flavor is amazing. What a great beer.

Light golden color. Light fruity flavor with a light-medium mouthfeel. Ends very dry and spicy. Good one.

Bottle. Pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color with a sizable white head. A spicy & funky aroma creeps up into your nose, followed by a bit if yeast and some citrusy hops. The favor is very wheaty, with a good bit of the citrus hops and the wonderful funk! Very drinkable.
