Tap at Barcade: Golden with good clarity for a Saison, and a fading white head. Estery aroma. Has a Belgian yeast character. Fruity with some apple skin, anise and a touch of bubblegum sweetness. Carbonation is frothy, yet sticky simultaneously. Starts sweet with mild bubblegum, honey and apple-like notes. There’s a note of sweet Belgian malt in the middle followed by a spicy, grassy, peppery finish. A decent example of the style, although the flavor don’t mesh very well. joergen (28102) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2008

Fruity flavour of spices, yeast and hops.
Hoppy and spicy finish. Sammy (12178) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 23, 2008
The smell is a bit barnyard, with lots of malt behind it. The taste, from a medium plus mouthfeel,is hoppy and mildly spicey, and is a bit astringent in the finish.Drinkable though not best of style.Orange with off-white head. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - APR 14, 2009
Nice looking beer with a fluffy head. Aroma is sweet and citrus with some spices. Taste has a bit of honey and clove with some faint citrus. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle from michael-pollack. Golden pour with a thick fluffy head on top. Wheat and grainy malt in the aroma, with light grassy funk and cereal notes. A sweet yeasty bread type flavor really stands out here. That’s joined by grassy notes and some corn as well. The use of the Pils malt is evident. Not a bad beer but it lacks really any funk or complexity and kind of has a basic domestic taste to it.

Hazy copper color, tan head. Sweet, fruity, apple scent. Alcohol, sugary, Belgian yeast taste. Warming alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Draft @ Phoenixville location on 15 Oct 2012 got a 10 oz. pour. Pale, clear yellow color. Average carbonation without much head. Nose is a mild wheat, grain and light spice. Flavor fell right in line with the aroma’s. Very thin body. I don’t know, something about this just really didn’t do it for me. Either I’m missing something or I wasn’t in the mood for it. I would order the Grisette before thinking about this one. Not bad in anyway maybe I will give it another try at a later date.
