Draft at brewpub. Poured turbid magenta raspberry colored with no head. Tasted flat, but with a nice berry aroma, earthy funky nose notes, and a dry finish. Nose was an earthy raspberry blast coupled with some wild yeasty notes. Decent, but proof that wild yeast need to be massaged and not sledgehammered. egajdzis (6769) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Purple with a small, white head that quickly dissapated leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberry, light wood, leather, wild yeast, and some sweetness. Taste of raspberry, wild yeast, some bacteria, vanilla, and a sour finish. It looks as though there was some thought put into this, as opposed to last year’s mistake we paid an arm and leg for. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2011
