COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The result of an accidental additional yeast pitch to the 10.7% version of Not Your Fathers Root Beer, this is the stuff of legends. Possibly our most talked about product, but we’ll let the product speak for itself…..if you can find it.

Bottle - I did not enjoy this one. I liked the lower alcohol incarnations, but this high high gravity version was a vanilla sugar bomb. Not for me.

Definitely like root beer but doesnt taste like 20 percent. Brown pour with good head and lacing. Very sweet finish. Bottle.

On tap.
Appearance: Black body, soda like head.
Aroma: Smells like rootbeer.
Taste: Likes like slightly flat rootbeer with some booze.
Palate: Thick and syrupy.
Overall: Wow, this is incredible. Very good but dangerous beverage.

On tap. Pours a dark cola color with a small off white head. Aroma is of sugar, vanilla, and alcohol. Tastes like root beet with a definite underlying alcohol taste. It definitely warms you up. Not bad, but it’ll knock you on your ass.

From bottle pours a cola brown with a quick disappearing fizzy head. Aroma is all root beer. Taste follows with a little vanilla, spice, sweetness but all root beer. Not sure if this is a beer or root beer syrup fermented to add a kick. Slight alcohol aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour on tap, dark cola colored pour with thin fizzy off white head, aroma brought notes of big root beer, booze, some vanilla into a bit of anise, some slight fruity notes. Taste was a mix of cola, syrup, some fruit into a bit of vanilla, more booze, some more root beer, finishing sweet, boozy. It’s not as bad as I thought, but its not something I want every day.

Draft. Tried a small sample of this as there is no way I would purchase a serving of it. It doesn’t seem 19.5% it is just a sweet sweet root beer flavor. Don’t think it’s all malt, theres gotta be some extra alcohol dumped in there.

Mini flip top growler shared by jtclockwork. Poured a clear dark brown color with almost no head. Aroma....Rootbeer!! Taste of sweet syrupy root beer, and some vanilla bean. Mouthfeel was on the flat side. All in all this tasted exactly like Rootbeer, and no booziness AT ALL being at 19.5%. Great stuff

Mini growler from jtclockwork. No need to go nuts with this rate, simply its alcoholic root beer. Poured a syrupy dark brown with hardly any head, but this is a minigrowler poured out of a growler so I rated it a 4 anyway. Aroma is nothing but root beer, Amazeaballs. Syrupy body, light carbonation, like root beer. Flavor is root beer, syrup, touch of alcohol. Love it.
