COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hardy, Porter is a dark and delicious creation designed to comfort you through the cold and dreary winter. It is uniquely single-hopped, with three additions of Palisade hops, which give a pleasant smoothness to the beer. Low in bitterness and brewed in the style of a brown porter, this beer boasts a variety of malts (Munich, crystal, chocolate and black patent) which give this beer a complex and rounded mouthfeel with hints of both sweetness and roast.

Draft at Taphouse/Queensway. Looks like a porter ... still and pitch black. Not much of a head. Easy to drink with just a mellow bitterness, and without much of a distinctive tilt either way. Their description is well written and accurate. Solid, but lacking distinction. (#4968, 4/2/2013)

sample at my local beer store. This beer have all the right components and aromas, but somehow seem too thin. The roasted malts and sweet finish give it balance through.
