Wonderful hefeweizen. Notes of cloves and bananas. Very tasty. Light head. Smooth and easy drinking.

It pours hazy gold with straw highlights; the head is off white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: banana, clove, and sourdough. The taste is light sweet that finishes; there are notes of: banana, cracked wheat, and bubblegum. The palate is light bodied with light carbonation and a medium finish. Overall, really flavourful for a lighter styled hefe.

[7393-20150719] Tap. Mild fruity toast aroma. Slightly hazy, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Light banana bread and toasted sweet straw flavour. Light-medium body. Good. (7/3/7/4/15) 3.6

2015-07-19. Hazy pastel yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is sweetly estery, notes of wheat and light pale malt. Flavour is fairly sweet, pleasantly estery. Smooth average plus body soft carbonation. Tasty but a bit sweet and a tad simple. On tap at the brewpub, Peterborough.

Feb. 7, 2015. In January’s Brew Box. Bottle. Banana and biscuit aroma and flavours. Cloudy yellow with white head. Nothing special.

Cloudy beige colour. Yeasty with a hint of citrus. Esters and vanillin. Banana bread taste, like alot. Almost too much that is overpowers most other notes. Not a fan of this one.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2015 Bottle served in a 500ml Weizen Glass at The Sapphire Room, in Peterborough. Large white head, cloudy, sparkly, light-gold body. Subtle notes of clove; more prominent are banana and bready notes.

Foamy and bland tasting. As a intro to Smithworks Brewing I would have chosen a better recipe/beer. Better luck next time!

Draft - Banana and peach. Cloudy yellow with a rich white head. Peach and citrus with hints of banana. Lively carbonation and a bright easy drinking beer. Quite nice and interesting for the style.

Bottle from the brewery, thanks in-laws! Pale hazy yellow, fluffy white head.Mild banana, lemon, and yeast aroma. Taste is pretty flavorful - strong lemon citrus with hints of banana. Body is quite thin for the style - I wanted more full, or at least more carbonation to make it seem lively. This beer is fine and I wish them well, but it does not make me terribly excited for future offerings (it is not what I would launch a brewery with).
