Pours a deep copper color with a white head that leaves nice lacing. Fairly sweet aroma with notes of malt and caramel. Lots of carbonation on the palate leads to a great tasting brew. Sweet and malty up front with just a hint of hoppy bitterness at the end. A very tasy beer.

Not my favorite but if your in an Irish mood and need something to chase a car bomb with, it's not bad. Dark tasty and delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Got this one from the St-Pat’s promotion at LCBO. Strong taste for a ’light’ beer. Must be the barley. Tasty beer and easy going. I like.

Aroma is metallic, earthy hops, slight caramel, a little dark fruit, eh. Appearance is amber, light tan head, clear. Taste is light, earthy hops, caramel, watery, metallic, not great. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light, bubbly carbonation, earthy hop caramel water aftertaste. Overall, not especially impressive, but easily crushed.

Tap at Sweenys Bar, Dublin. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a long-lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light grainy malt. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light crisp watery light fruit, metallic hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

dark red color. Looked promising but failed miserably. There’s next to nothing going on here. Very light ale. If Budweisier made an Ale, this would be it. Wouldn’t get this again.

Pours dark red with a nice head and good lacing. Tastes of caramel, breadiness, slight floral and nuts. Not bad for a light ALC beer. Great if I need to drive heavy equipment at work. lol, just kidding! ;)

This "Premium" ale gives a huge short lived head. Has no smell and is quite bland. This is not one I’ll be purchasing again.

thejackpacker (417) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2017
Draught at several in County Sligo. An incredibly drinkable ale and one eh at has enough taste to back it up. A strange Guinness-esque foam when poured. Can be tinny after other more powerful beers. One to go the distance, my Irish Doombar.

Draught. (backlog) Deep amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some toffee, mild wood as well as some herbal notes. Flavour is sweet malts, mild grains as well as some slight floral and wooden notes in the finish. Smooth, but nothing to really write home about.

11.2 Fl Oz. bottle Red brown with good head. Malty/grainy aroma but also oxidized. Medium bitterness. Some malt but I expected more and the oxidation didn’t help metters. (Date code on bottle was L6057GD004 whatever this means ???). Uninspiring.
