3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled, pours clear brown/ruby with large fluffy tan head, roasted nutty malt with hints of caramel/toffee and grassy hops, balanced bready malt with touch of toffee and herbaceous hops, med/high carb, light body, toasted malt and mellow hop residual.
Uit vroegere notities. Amberkleurig bier met crèmekleurige schuimkraag. Geur: mout, licht zoet, karamel. Smaak: moutzoet, karamel, licht bittertje, ietwat kruidig en licht fruitig. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht zoet, wat droog. Voor mij was het eens iets anders dan lager of stout in Ierland, tijd voor iets Palm-achtigs. Draught in Cork, August 2016. Light caramel, floral notes, shy fruity hints. Soft, smooth, light bitter, crisp, high drinkability. Very good. SVD (2275) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2017
Glass at Shamrock, Nijmegen, Amber red beer, small mousse head. Aroma is malt, some hops, taste is the same, sweet, some bitterness, mild flavour, ok. squzzi (67) - Wijchen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2017
Decent Red Ale. Drinkable stuff. Not something one should go the whole evening on.

a very mild, easy going red ale. beautiful head, although don't expect kilkenney/guinness nitro-foam (to which this ale would honestly benefit from). in terms of malt profile and hop character, don't get this if you're looking for intriguing flavours, because they just aren't there.
this is a balanced beer for a barbecue to have a few, not something to ponder what the brewmaster had in mind.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2017 Draft. It poured an amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was malty caramel with a light bitter taste. Bill Becker (2051) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 17, 2017
From Feb 2006
Poured from bottle a deep amber with a good head of foam that dissipated slowly
The smell is a light note of malt and pretty much nothing else.
The taste is a mix of malt and faint hops....not at all exciting nor complex but certainly not offensive. I'll let my next bottle get closer to room temp and if there are any noteworthy changes in my opinion of this brew, I'll edit my review. As it stands now, this just lacks the flavour that I was hoping for in a UK session ale. Too bad. higgsbison (275) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2017
Drinkable but not great. light, highly carbonated, not much body, refreshing, A lingering aftertaste that is slightly bitter

On tap, Jamusha wedding. Deep ruddy brown colour, bright, white foam. Quite smooth, hints of malty sweetness, caramel, with a surprisingly dry finish that makes it wonderfully drinkable. Very smashable, I enjoyed it. jasz (2) - - AUG 20, 2017 does not count
It’s really a great drinking beer. Refreshing and clean. Some small bitterness gives it a tiny bite but overall a balanced beer. It’ll be a go to session beer for sure.
