Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. As Smithwick's Red. Pours clear bright amber brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, bread and light fruit. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Finish is sweet and malty. So so.

Tap at a bar in Amsterdam, 23.09.17. Amber, clear with a creamy off white head. Aroma of hops and malt. Light bitter with a malt end...Amsterdam.

Pint. White foamy layer. Clear brown red color. Aroma is caramel, autumn, rose hips, strawberry leaves. Taste is quite sweet

On tap, 25cL. @bar "Ty Anna", Rennes, FR. A beautiful sparkling amber beer with a white foamy head ; good retention and great lacing. Nitrogen, light roast, caramel and chestnut notes. Light to medium sweet, light dry refreshing, bitter note. Light to medium body, thin oily texture, soft carbonation, dry fresh light sweet finish. Overall, correct.

Best beer of Ierland Twee weken elke avond 2 pints gedronken goed biertje weinig koolzuur. Het is het enige bier wat ik heb ik heb kunnen ontdekken wat overal op de tap staat. Tuurlijk je hebt Guinese maar die is een maatje te groot voor mij. De red Ale een goede vervanger ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
