A nice alternative to Killians or other Irish Reds. Slightly hazy reddish in color. Thin head with very little lacing present. Nice taste, slightly fuller than Killians. Excellent drink-ability, goes down smoothly and very quickly was ready for another. No overpowering after taste. Definitely would drink again.

Hope this is the right brew... A light malt aroma, light aroma all together. A medium red crystal clear brew with good head retention. It tasted of light caremel and a low carb and no bitterness. It was smooth and crisp id say a good summer brew. Worth a buy and maybe a few more.

Buona. Leggera. Gusto marcato e persistente. Retrogusto amaro quanto basta. Nel complesso ottima.

Mild ale. Not too hoppy or malty. Caramel taste. Reminds me of buddington or kilkenny...

Not a massive dan of this. Great on the palate but overall not one I'd choose to drink on a regular basis ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aluminum can from Rite-Aid: Poured a dark brass colored liquid with thin soapy foam head. Aroma is bland and boring with slight smell of malts. The flavor is strange and takes a few quaffs to fully get to know this beers personality better. Taste of buttery flavors while delicate semi-sweet caramel malts structure this Irish ale true to traditional standards.

Eindelijk een biertje! Terrasjes vinden is moeilijk in Ierland bij mooi weer, want dat is het niet zo vaak. Van de lokale brouwer waarvan wij het bier in Nederland kennen als Kilkenny. Prima!

Pours a deep red-orange colour, with two fingers of head. Looks delicious. Smells of malt (caramel) and fruits. Taste is bready, with faint hop notes and a long, somewhat bitter finish. Pleasing to the palate and goes down easier than water for me! Also makes the best Black & Tan (or "Blacksmith") when combined with Guinness. Overall, my favourite Irish Beer. [EDIT] - My 500ml can is 5% alc, but is clearly labelled Smithwicks Draught. Not sure if I have reviewed in the correct section, but I imagine they are close enough in taste!
