Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. As Smithwick's Red. Pours clear bright amber brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, bread and light fruit. On tap, 25cL. @bar "Ty Anna", Rennes, FR. A beautiful sparkling amber beer with a white foamy head ; good retention and great lacing. Nitrogen, light roast, caramel and chestnut notes. Light to medium sweet, light dry refreshing, bitter note. Light to medium body, thin oily texture, soft carbonation, dry fresh light sweet finish. Overall, correct.
