Good pale ale on tap at the brewery, light hops and nice aroma, bitter, easy to drink, nice beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Pours a golden yellow/orange. Nice mild hop aroma. Porter has a great way with hops. Enjoyed this as much as Hoptonic and Amarilla Guerilla. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 12, 2012
(Draught) Pours a clear copper body with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pine, and grass. Flavor of caramel, pine, peach, orange, and grapefruit with a dry, bitter finish. illidurit (2354) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 26, 2012
On tap at the brewery during RBSG 2012. Clear pale gold color. Basic pale malt base with an astringent hop character that provides little flavor and much tongue-scrunching. Boring. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Tap at Tustin’s brewpub. Clear, light amber to orange pour. Medium, dense head. Nose is citrus rind, orange, lemon, heavy citrus hops. Taste is very dry, astringent, very bitter with no body to balance. Palate is again very tannic and astringent. A third palate wrecker in a row. Definitely some brewing flaws for all the beers here than need remedied.

From tap at Tustins. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white and lacing head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, light peachy. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Ends dry and light bitter. Smooth hoppy into the finish. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - MAY 21, 2012
21 may 2012, cask at Tustin Brewery. Light orange, faintest of haze, no bubbles. Nose is bitter grapefruit citrus and some peach sweetness, though predominantly bitter, not sweet. Med/thin body and almost flat the way a cask conditioned ale should be. Flavor is grapefruit rind and orange juice but with nine if the sweetness and virtually no bitterness. Interesting. Very bitter nose but taste is hardly bitter at all. Enjoyable. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Sampled on tap at Beer Revolution on 2/19/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy, fruity and sweet. A medium to lighter bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are cereal, fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy, grapefruit and floral. Nice carbonation. Excellent balance. Touch of orange and orange peel. Nice hop bitterness and a touch dry. Lots of flavor for a 4.8% beer. Easy drinking. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a white head. Smells pretty nice, actually. Lots of citrus hops with notes of grapefruit and orange. A decent floral aroma, some light bread notes, too. A bit watery on the flavor. Good bitterness, but sort of a grassy hop flavor without as much citrus and floral character. A bit of malt sweetness. Light in body with medium carbonation. On tap at BAM Fest. Pours with a lightly hazed orange to golden body with a small white head. Aromas are of citrus, grassy, grainy and a bit of an astringent malt character. Flavors are fruity, light esters, citrus hop notes, melon. Very bitter and a bit of tannic extracted grainy. Lively bubbles and a dry finish. Light to medium bodied.
