Tap. I Guess this the same as the 20th anniversary imperial stout. It is a deep, dark brown with a light head. Aroma is complex with coffee , chocolate and burnt toast. Taste is also complex. Also coffee, dark roasted grains. nearbeer (5422) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 17, 2012
UPDATED: APR 21, 2012 Draft at Turkey Creek location. Opaque with a creamy lasting disc of foam. Nose is mocha, char and light caramel. Smooth taste is the same with a bit more char and wood on the finish. Medium-heavy body is fairly smoothly carbonated, and well-balanced, with well-hidden abv. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - APR 11, 2012
Black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is roasted malt and burnt coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, what I think is a touch too much black patent malt, and a pretty nice warmth. A tad foamy on the intitial drink, medium bodied. A blessing in a 1/2 pint pour. A bit too much malt bitter to be over the top but glad they tried it.. Half pint at the Turkey Creek location. Black pour with a thick tan head. Aroma of malt, roast, light smoke and molasses. Roasty and chocolatey flavor with slight smoke before a bitter coffee finish.
