What is Bouncy House? It’s the next step in our quest to brew the perfect low-alcohol, high-flavor, hoppy American ale. We learned a few things from brewing ParadoX earlier this year, like lowering the alcohol content and avoiding the terms "session" and "IPA." When you taste Bouncy House, you’ll taste a modest malt bill of North American 2-row, British pale ale malt, C-60 and Aromatic malt mashed for a refreshingly light body that leaves plenty of spotlight for a melange of Warrior, Calypso, El Dorado and Citra hops.

Bottle @home (rating backlog). Pours golden/yellow, white head. Nose is orange, citrus, floral, slight burnt rubber. Taste is the same with the burnt rubber coming through a touch more.

ABUSEDGOAT (2820) - California, USA - MAR 23, 2017
Cloudy amber color, huge gushing head that lasts. Aroma is very light with spicy hops, a touch of grapefruit, citrus, yeast. Medium to light bodied, yeasty with light citrus notes. Sorta like an amber ale I guess..

Hmm what to tell here. Aroma is zero to none, one has to pay close attention to notice mild citruses. Head quickly dissappears. Hops play prime in taste, but that’s it. Meh.

Bottle. Firm white head, hazy yellow colour, herbal aroma. Pretty average IPA, very easy to drink, very easy to forget. Herbal, soft taste. As a side note, very ugly bottle label. Edit: Rerating. Taste gets worse with every sip.

Gravity Cask Third of a Pint at GBBF 2014, Olympia, London Aug 2014 - Hazy Yellowy Gold in colour. Fruity; grapefruit and lemon citrus. Hoppy; grassy hops. Malty; pale malts, caramel. Lots of flavour for low ABV. Very bitter hoppy citrus fruity throughout. Drinkable but too bitter. (2014-08-13)

12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a white head. Citrus with some pine.

glennmastrange (2899) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2016
Bottle. Moderate grain and caramel for the malt, light herbs for the hops, light to moderate dough for the yeast, with a hint of pepper in the background. Head is large, frothy turning rocky, white, with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is hazy amber/tan. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a slightly dry finish. A pretty nice Session IPA that’s still lighter on flavors than aromas, but it does have a relatively heavy body compared to others.

bottle - Hazy gold pour, smells mainly of citrus hops. The flavor is bitter with some citrus and resin notes and bready malt. Light to medium bodied. Fairly good.

KØLF 180316. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour is pine, malt, hop, fruit, citrus. Medium body. OK beer and easy drinkable.

guzgorog (918) - FRANCE - MAY 19, 2016
