What is Bouncy House? Its the next step in our quest to brew the perfect low-alcohol, high-flavor, hoppy American ale. We learned a few things from brewing ParadoX earlier this year, like lowering the alcohol content and avoiding the terms "session" and "IPA." When you taste Bouncy House, youll taste a modest malt bill of North American 2-row, British pale ale malt, C-60 and Aromatic malt mashed for a refreshingly light body that leaves plenty of spotlight for a melange of Warrior, Calypso, El Dorado and Citra hops.

glennmastrange (2715) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2016
Bottle. Moderate grain and caramel for the malt, light herbs for the hops, light to moderate dough for the yeast, with a hint of pepper in the background. Head is large, frothy turning rocky, white, with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is hazy amber/tan. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a slightly dry finish. A pretty nice Session IPA thats still lighter on flavors than aromas, but it does have a relatively heavy body compared to others.

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a finger-thick white head on top. Lightly piney aroma, with pine cones, resins and a touch of pale malts. Lightly cheesy hops, might be age, pine cones, resins and some maltyness in the rather bitter flavor. Medium body, semi-dry and pleasantly carbonated, with a lasting bitter finish. Easy drinkable and quite pleasant, but nothing special going on. 160504

Bottle. Golden with small semilasting head. Aroma is fruity hops (mostly tropical and some citrus ) and malt. The same is in the taste, but caramalt is as dominating as the hops so its more on the sweet side. Low bitterness for an session.
