Little in the way of aroma. Slightly oily. A bit of pine, bit acidic, maybe a hit of smoke, touch of butterscotch. Big finish with aromatics, slight smoke and pleasant bitterness. Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2007
On tap. Sharp fruity bitter hops, a bit of piney resin and grapefruit. Mild caramel biscuit sweetness. Juicy. Dull amber clear with bit of chill haze. Creamy off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium heavy carbonation. Starts with nice bitter hit; grapefruit acidic and mild resin. Good bit of sweetness but very subdued compared to tops. The finish is a bitter dry, with tongue-coating bitter after. Good IPA but could be a touch more malty. JAF737300 (1291) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2007
HUGE hops and the aroma that opens up after the initial pour really shines that big citurs hop smell and then into the flavor. The citrus plays very well of the bitterness and just really balances nicely. SynergyXJ (510) - Blacksburg, Virginia, USA - MAY 13, 2007
Draught Hazy golden pour with pretty low head. Piney citrus hop aroma followed by a more malty flavor. Much less hoppy than I had expected. Pretty well balanced and smooth. Good session brew. MagooinPA (101) - Rotonda Lakes, Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2007
On tap at Tony’sPlace in Ivyland, Pa ( this place had Celebrator on tap this winter and had no clue it was the best Double Bock in the world! This is a Italian restaurant for Pete’s sake!). Nice foamy white head that lasted a good long time. Pours a nice hazy golden color. Nice nose of hops+ hops + hops... As hoppy as this was, the malt balance was also good. The great pucker of all the hops finsihed with a surprising malt kick then went back to a lingering hop bite that any hop-head would love. No clue in the taste this is 6.6 abv either.

12oz bottle. Hazy golden hue. Big bright orange flavors. Lots of citrus. Big nose. Full bodied with full bitter flavors. Big grapefruit with a nice dry palate. Nice effervescence. Touch of caramel undertone in the malts. Smooth malts then a blast of hop bitterness. Very nice. acearl (510) - The Ham, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 6, 2007

Tap at Croxley’s Ale House: Pours a deep golden amber with good clarity and topped by a consistent off white head. Very aromatic. Hoppy, sweet fruityness of peach, citrus notes, nice and bright. Fairly velvety mouthfeel with a good amount of carbonation. Has an assertive hoppyness in the flavor. It’s fairly balanced, yet it could use just a drop more malt in the body to even out the aggressive hops. (And I’m a hop head) Has some peach/apricot esters with a late grapefruity bitterness which is long and dry. An aggressive and enjoyable IPA. Beerio (48) - USA - MAY 2, 2007
This is a complex IPA. There is a shit load of things happening in it. All of the typical IPA tastes are crafted into it well. But there are other great things about this IPA that I am too drunk put my finger on. I am gonna go have sex...Maybe I will review it after again after that. jm1907 (18) - P=Town, California, USA - APR 29, 2007
