Cask at GBBF 2009, 7th August 09. Still, slightly hazy golden amber. Intense hop aromas and flavours - citrus, grass, even nettles. However the palate is rather cloying, syrupy and heavy. This is what lets it down - a lack of condition. LinusStick (3537) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 14, 2010
An average IPA. Aroma was so so. LIght malt, ginger ale and grassy hops. Pour was medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was different. Very strong biting carbonation with not much else coming through. Nice strong, dry bitter aftertaste. More flavor in the front would have made this beer great. Golden blond coloured beer with some small yeast parts and a small white head. Light hoppy bitter touched aroma. Medium to full palate. FInish is bitter, rather hoppy and dry near the end. Maybe to extreme, no other flavors than hop, hop and hop. bconger (144) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUL 23, 2010
Bottle. Golden pour with stagnant particulate matter and a thin head. Malty aromas. Sweet and hoppy up front with a lingering bitterness. NateBarnett (75) - Augusta, Georgia, USA - OCT 7, 2010
12oz bottle. Pours a golden orange with no head. Aroma is a bizarre musty citrus, perhaps due to opening several months after the "best by" date. Tastes of hops and citrus with sweet malts- pretty good flavor.

I tip my hat to Smutty for crafting this tasty beer. Strong gold color with a small white head. Aromas of grass, herbal/floral hops. The taste is grassy with some pine needles, but unique because of a nice citrus kick. A hidden flavor of zesty oranges and grapefruit. Bittersweet aftertaste, easy to drink. Quite good. 12 oz. bottle @ Beer Temple (had it on tap there too, about a year ago?). Big creamy head with lacing. Light orange colored. Smells really weird, earthy, vegetal, herbal, a little (dark) malt. Once in the mouth is where it happens, lots of bittering hops, bitter flavor, a little bit acidic even. Medium bodied. Long bitter finish. apart from the smell: enjoyable. steerpike (28) - Greenfield, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 8, 2005
Not sure how I feel about this one. Tastes like the lovechild of grapefruit juice and beer. The citrus hop flavors dominated the malt throughout. I suspected my palate to be off, but my companion concurred - yup, Tropicana. Decent, but odd. I’ll have to try this one again. Bottle from dirtymike. Pours slightly viscous, with a sunset-orange hue. Small ivory head. Aroma is a combination of grapefruit and herb. Flavor is a dash of grapefruit, orange, and a touch of tangerine. The hops bite is a bit subdued, but it is there. Alcohol is hidden quite nicely. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, but coats nicely. A pleasant brew. SilkTork (5945) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2005
Cask @ GBBF, 2005. A cascade rich American ale. All the elements pull together in harmony. Nice balance. A well worked beer.
