22oz bottle, courtesy of MikeTD (Thanks), if you like bourbon, drink on. huge amounts of vanilla and bourbon come through at all times, a bit sweet, a bit spicy and a good mix, but the bourbon dominates at all times. Still enjoyable and nice to have a bourbon barrel under 10% Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Pours really deep amber with minimal head, smell is sweet, malty, booze, fruit, nice. Taste dry, fruity, malt, rye, oak, wood, ash, lot going on, sweet after taste. Great. kbutler1 (1381) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 9, 2011
Bottle. This one has been in my fridge for far too long, waiting to be drank. Poured into a snifter glass a dark copper clear color with a nice tan head. To me, the barrel is noticeable in the nose but not extreme by any means. I get more caramel and vanilla notes that the bourbon. Medium/heavy mouthfeel. The sweetness upfront is what grabs my attention first upon my first taste. Caramel followed by a warming alcohol and barrel notes. Some vanilla in the back end. Candy like. UPDATED: JAN 11, 2011 Dark walnut, mahogany pour. Aroma is straight up vanilla, caramel, bourbon cracker. Flavor is heavily influenced by bourbon, some vanilla, grain, some rye grain, sharp, but smoothed out by the bourbon. Incredibley good. DAMN this shit is good bvc (1242) - Washington, USA - DEC 21, 2010
22oz capped, thanks Alex. Clear amber brown with eggshell white head. Malty, apple, caramel, fig newtons, lighty boozey and some phenols. Bready tart apples and raisins, white grapes, creamy smooth body with some tobacco notes on the end. Well made and enjoyable until it warms when the booze pops out.

One of the most interesting beers Ive ever had, smells and tastes like liquid gold butter. Definitely one to share however, as a single bomber might be a little too much for one person. I got a little sick of it after awhile, the last 1/2 pint was a chore. One of those tastes that is so delicious right off the bat and is really good, but then starts to get annoyingly sweet. Very smooth and thick, I dont think the head dissipated at all through the entire process. Really good one to share, and enjoy with a few other people. xmarcnolanx (940) - Kirkwood, Missouri, USA - OCT 19, 2010
Hey now buttery bourbon! Tons of butter, bourbon, caramel, vanilla, and a spiciness.
Taste is slightly spicy, bourbon, butter, vanilla, and caramel.
Finish is sweet, cloying, and butter.

Bomber pour into snifter..darkish crimson red like color..slight head rests on top..pretty active carbonation..nice looking beer..intrigued from the start..aroma is pleasing consisting of bourbon..vanilla..cream soda..wow..complex nose..mouthfeel is very good on this..smooth..creamy..silky texture..slight alcohol warmth on finish..palate has most of the same flavor as the nose with perhaps a touch of molasses and brown sugar..gets even better as it warms..this is a fine offering and a really good sipper on a winter evening...one of the better less than 10 percent abv barrel aged beers..very impressed with this..wish i had picked up a few more bottles of this from julios..hard to not like this unless you really dislike bourbon aged stuff..very good..
