65cl, no mention of ABV, as Ry(e)an Ale, new exclusive American brew Anno 2010, thx to Secret Santa!, complex brew, sweet/spicy and slightly alcoholic/woody, heavy, yet balanced, cloudy, small head, good brew, yet expensive! jmikolich (1486) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - NOV 29, 2012
22oz bottle, courtesy of MikeTD (Thanks), if you like bourbon, drink on. huge amounts of vanilla and bourbon come through at all times, a bit sweet, a bit spicy and a good mix, but the bourbon dominates at all times. Still enjoyable and nice to have a bourbon barrel under 10% yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 23, 2011

Sample thanks to Skyview. Hazy dark brown pour, no carbonation and a funky subtle apple and booze aroma. Flavor is plenty of bourbon, herbs and finished syrupy and boozy. Very good beer, but just not too much complexity to make it really interesting. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 24, 2010
22oz bottle Thanks grownfool @PreJam Gathering-pours a tan head and amber color. Aroma is bourbon/wood, dark fruit. Taste is bourbon/wood, dark fruit, medium malt. tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - OCT 15, 2010
2010 pre-Brewer’s Jam tasting. Pours red-orange with beige head. Aroma is very sweet with some hints of char and honey, maybe some sage. Flavor is also very sweet with maple and caramel, little bit of spice, distant vegetal hint. I can detect some spice in the finish and aftertaste. Ok, but too sweet. Bottle. Beautiful deep red pour, with a thin veil of off white foam. Lots of bourbon-vanilla present in the aroma, obviously marries well with whatever rye malt notes manage to make it through. Taste is sweet, candy, vanilla, bourbon. Palate is slightly syrupy, lacks carbonation for such a sweet beer. Not bad, but I would never have drank the whole thing - too bourbony and unidimensional. thornecb (6055) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 1, 2012
Pours clear dark amber into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet rye and bourbon aromas. Thin with sour toffee upfront turning to a mild bourbon before the hot lasting rye burn.
