A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, smooth woody chocolate, wood estract, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate with molasses, prunes, wood extract and alcohol, very nice and smooth. Pouring at session one of Belgian Beer Fest in Boston. Pours a deep black with a thin to medium sized tanned beige head. Lovely bourbon, vanilla, prunes, and sweet chocolate pudding on the nose. Soft caramel. Gorgeous. Chocolate and cocoa, a touch thin. Lovely chocolate, roast, sweet vanilla, warm wood and chocolate. Chewy with nice carbonation. Caramel and toffee. Long roast and warming alcohol on the finish.
