Taste not too strong but nice coffee bitterness, some cocoa, decent amount of vanilla, light hops. Thick, slightly oily, grainy MF. Very soft, well balanced and enjoyable. gripweed57 (2921) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - NOV 10, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Translucent cola brown color. Dense, creamy tan head. Rich, cocoa malt nose. Soft, silky roasted malt flavor. Rich, flavorful chocolate malt notes. Slightly bitter resiny hops. Absolutely delicious with a smooth easy drinking palate. One of the best American Porters I've tasted. Cakes (496) - New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2017

12floz bottle (BBD: 08.16.2017, $1.50) poured into a mug glass. It appears a very dark brown with a glistening light brown head. Baker’s chocolate and molasses aromas are not strong, but noted. This beer is robust, yet not overbearing. Flavors consist of roasted and crystal/caramel malts that convey moderate amounts of dark chocolate and praline. I’ll use the overused term solid to summarize the quality of this porter. googleimage83 (172) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 5, 2017
Very dark, not particularly heady but rich looking. Buttery, desserty aroma; milk chocolate, vanilla notes. Taste of brown sugar, quality milk chocolate, oat, toasted hops. Extremely smooth, milky quality. Excellent.
