Aroma: It is somewhat reminiscent of a saison, with some lemon, yeast, and lots of spice
Appearance: Pours an amber-orange color with a beige colored head on it
Flavor: The taste is a nice mix of the spice, hop bitterness, and some citrus flavors
Palate: The body is medium, it has an average carbonation to it, and a bit of dryness
I thought this was a pretty solid beer. It was interesting to try and a pretty cool experiment.
Citrus zest, tangerine, pine in the aroma.Flavor is drier pine hops followed by a bit of tropical fruit and a receding malty sweetness. The Smutty trademark hops finish is present. Drinks like an earthier, slightly more bitter All-Day IPA. I would love to see this in the year-round lineup, at least in kegs, as we’re in need of a solid, sessionable local IPA here. I think they could knock the ABV down a bit and they’d be golden. Aim for 4.2%? DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2013
Draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy gold with white clingy head. Nose is lemongrassy hops, floral yeasty malt. Tastes dry, floral, with lemony citrus and cobwebby esters, lending way to a bitter lemony yeasty finish.

Pours deep amber into a tulip. Tan head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet caramel, toffee and resin aromas. Medium bodied with caramel and bread upfront turning to mild resin and grapefruit in the lasting finish. puboflyons (3433) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 21, 2013
From the 22 fl. oz. bottle. Bottle no. 296 of 960. It pours mainly pale yellow with a full fizzy head and busy carbonation. The aroma is a fine mix of pale sweet malts, earthy hops, and a lemon twist. The hops tend to grandstand more than the malts. The body is light to medium with a slight astringency. The taste begins mildly sweet with a moderate hop finish. Well balanced on the whole.
