A luminous burnt golden pour with almost no head. Aroma is loaded with white wine and dry brett, the base beer manages to peak out wih some underlying notes of dried fruit, apricot, and a bit of booze. Mouthfeel is a bit syrupy but smooth and drinkable. The malty, sugary flavor of the triple melds well with the citrus and light creme brulee of the chardonnay. Tons of the wine flavor comes through, and all the while there’s a slight funkiness from the brett. Finish is dry, but lingers a bit as well. A unique, interesting, and tasty offering from Smutty.
