JPDIPSO (6317) - Wauwatosa, USA - NOV 30, 2016
Hazy golden liquid with a diminished off white head. Aromas of light spice and orange peel. Hints of honey and pale malt and cereal. Light orange peel and light fruit. Quick sharp and a bit zippy in feel. Finish is sweeter. Too much sweetness in the finish to be a quencher and not enough depth to be one to think over. 6/11

Un-Muzzling Olde Muzzlehatch Ratings, #18. Vermont Brewer’s Fest, July 2008, sample 11 (draught). As "TBD Blonde" - almost 100% positive this is the same beer, as I had the bottled version a few times from 2009-11 or so. Anyway it poured a hazy gold-amber with a bit of lasting head...lightly fruity but mostly yeasty (cookie dough, muffins) aroma, touch of apple...lightly tart, full-bodied, struck me as somewhere between the Belgian and English styles of golden, low-hop ales. Anyway nothing terribly exciting or novel, but hugely drinkable and while far from my favorite at the fest it was one of only a couple that I had seconds on.

Slightly hazy golden color, medium small head, decent lacing. Coriander and yeast aroma. Coriander, yeast, light malt and spices. Slightly sour, sweet and bitter. Light and easy to drink. Good for what it is. Enjoyed it. Worth a try...

Bottle. Pours light hazy golden with a small white head. Smells of metal (bloody), light fruit. Meh flavor. Not much to write home about. Sour, spoiled banana, wheat, funy bubblegum.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured cloudy, golden with a huge foamy white head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of wine, fruit and Some malts. Taste is moderately tart, is also quite fruity, yeast and spices are also present. Interesting beer, is a bit old and I’m not sure how much is that factor affecting the taste; but overall crisp and refreshing.

12oz bottle. Hazy golden color with one finger head. Yeast and spice aroma. Taste has some pepper/spice, but is doughy. Not a fan of it.

GIJOE (1260) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Pours hazy amber with a creamy white head that lingers a bit. Moderate lacing. Some toasted grain, biscuit and cereals in the nose, slightly yeasty. Notes of pepper. Taste is sweet. Moderate carbonation, light body. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had this at Global Brew. Pours yellow gold with a white head. Taste sweet, fruity, citrus. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a tulip and a snifter. There weren’t any significant changes in either one. The appearance had a decent one finger white foamy over coating the top of pale hazy golden yellow to somewhat of an orange color. The head dissipated within less than about forty seconds and left an ample amount of sliding lightly foamy lacing. The smell had a light florally coated earthy spices over top of a light sweet herbalness. The taste had a light sweet floral behavior about it that had a light cough drop-like flavoring. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly good sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat harsh and pummeling. Overall, this was not one of my more favorites brews by Smuttynose. I don’t miss this one.

Drank from a 12oz bottle. Hard to describe; almost tastes of mushrooms! Not sure I get what this is supposed to be. An ale, with little malt nor hop bitterness, nor spice. Just cream of mushroom soup. Sadly, bought a six pack.
