This poured a pretty hazed golden yellow with a fat head of creamy foam that lasted well enough and left a layer on top. Some lace. Nose is earthy, funky beligian, with a touch fruit rind from orange and lemon, a bit of coriander spice and a cracker malt that sports a bit of dry biscuit. Taste follows the nose all the way. Except it offers a touch of tartness and as the beer warms the fruity scent of white grape to sweeten and enliven it so that the second half of the glass is even better than the first half. The mouthfeel is medium light and a amply carbonated. Beerhunter111 (23770) - Beerland, GERMANY - MAR 8, 2014
This beer is an unexpected delight. A nice sweet honey kissed malt presence with belgian and fruity drink that surprises you as it continues to change in the glass form earthy to fruity as it warms. I got this in the singles and I am going to get one fresh just to see how it is.
Animated and lively =)
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig. Salamiwami (50) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Effervescent golden color with lots of foamy head. A very bland flavored beer, almost tastes stale. Not something I’d recommend. dnstone (4034) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Aroma is light malt but almos imperceptible. Light clear golden in color with no head. Overall bland.

Draft at Portsmouth. Pours clear gold with almost no head. Tastes like grains and malt, not much flavor. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like grains, corn, musk.

Tap at Portsmouth Brewery. Pours clear pale amber with a trace of head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is cereal and toasted malts, light caramel, floral notes, light soap, and light apples. Flavor is dry malts, soda water, faint hop bitterness and faint citrus esters; very thin with a dry finish. Light body and low carbonation. radarsock (1223) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Liked. Crisp, refreshing, delicate with notes of bread crumbs, nutmeg, noble hops, and LME. Not the most complex Belgian, but it was served by Gale, the one and only at 401 yesterday evening. She made me remember why I enjoy local dives and obscure public houses so much. This was the beer that she finally asked my ID for, but unlike Kraddel, didn’t kick me out. Good time in Hampton. allmyvinyl (11321) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 9, 2013
355ml bottle at home. Pours hazy yellow with a decent white head. Gentle aromas of yeast and cereal, only a faint hint of spice. Taste is smooth and lightly sweet. Bitter taste develops. Not bad. DruncanVeasey (8603) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2013
Slightly vintage bottle at The New Penguin. Lightly misted gold with a thinning white collar. Muted lemon and lime confectionery aroma (at first) gathering white wine, buttered cider, banana, strawberry, grain and bourbon. Mellow spiced soapy lime flavour with muddled oak and green apple. Some oily peanut malt in the mix; white wine again. Odd but not unpleasant. crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - NOV 16, 2013
A yellow body with a large white head that had good retention. Aroma was mild a splint spice note. Mild hints of bubblegum. Flavor was mild. Don't know what I was missing. I could not get any interesting or dominate flavors. Mild carbonation.
