bottle. golden with one finger head. wheat ale with a very flat flavor profile. dry with some chamomile. goddamn this is boring. madvike (3293) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Bottle - I don’t know why I read weizen and though hefeweizen, but I had no idea this was a wheat ale until I smelled it. Yuck--one of my least favorite styles, and this is a doozy. Pours light hazy golden with a huge foamy white head. Nose is corny, grainy, and wheaty, with a hint of lemon and herbal hoppiness. Touch of bitterness. Taste is lots of sharp, lightly sweet grain, wheat, with a bit of lemon. Stale, not much flavor, and very angular. Pretty gross. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 17, 2014
12oz bottle in a teku. Pours golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of light spicy yeast, pale malts, wheat, light hops, and light flowery notes. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not the best of its style. snoworsummer (5961) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 2, 2014
From a bottle. Pours almost ear gold with a thin, fizzy white head. Tastes malty, skunky, and like corn. Light body and low carbonation. Faint smell of corn, musk, and grains.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Taste a little sweet, citrus. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again.

Found this for very cheap on offer, was pretty skeptical but ended up very pleasantly surprised. It’s cloudy to the point of complete fog, which is always a good sign in a wheat beer. The head is absolutely beautiful, very soft and bubbly - almost takes on a velvet texture. As for the taste, well, I can see why that might not be to everybody’s preference - there’s a distinct floral aftertaste that underpins an otherwise robust wheat ale. I find the bitter, floral tones really elevate it above your average hefeweizen, although if I’m quibbling it is missing some of the sweeter tones that are found in the upper tier ’weizens. Overall, a refreshing beer. solidfunk (9366) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 12, 2013
Passable wheat ale. Keep hoping one of these weizens turns out to be a weizenbock but haven’t had any luck so far. Pours blonde with ok head. Average carbonation. Finishes with light sourness and crispness. Some yeast and very light banana. Bottle.
