From bottle. Pour a cloudy yellow with small white head. Nose is cloves and lemon. Flavor has a sweet wheatines with an overly bitter finish. Immy (1955) - Virginia Beach, USA - JUL 9, 2006
12 oz bottle shared with and courtesy of gputty. Hazy yellow pour, small white head. Bananna and spice in the nose, a bit yeasty. Flavor brings the wheaty flavors to the fore, with the bananna and spice backing it up. Dry hop bite in the finish, a bit peppery. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2006
12oz bottle-pours a big foamy white head with yellow color. Aroma is musty barnyard wheat, clove. Taste is lots of clove, musty wheat, malt. Good effervescence. Rballs01 (282) - Madison, New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2006
Not bad for a summer weizen. Pours cloudy but no chunks? Major hops on the nose, bananna and slight cloves. It tasted like a cross between an IPA and a wheat beer. Keep in mind the label says "summer weizen" therefore it’s a light styled wheat beer. You will experience the weizen style but it finishes clean and refreshing as a summer beer should! How did you get a picture of my mother??? hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - JUL 6, 2006
Straw color, light golden, a bit hazy, with small, quickly diminishing off white head. Aroma is of tart citrus, wheat, taste is wheat, light phenolics, some tart citrus, with a smooth finish. refreshing. good summer beer.

Very nice weizen. Full wheat aroma and nice smooth palate. Some fruit peels in the taste gives it a bit of crispness. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 28, 2006
Bottled. Poured a very slightly hazy medium golden with a short-lived cap of white head. Nose was predominantly of orange rind sticky caramel-laced wheat... with overtones of cloves and freshly-milled grain. Flavor was decidedly spicy in nature.. with orange zest, cloves, and banana peel leading the way. Wheaty tartness provides another layer of complexity.. and citrus drove through the finish. Decent mouthfeel and medium carbonation.. losing a bit across the middle. Certainly better than expected. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JUN 25, 2006
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2006 Light to medium gold, decent head. Aroma of cloves and a bit of bubblegum, ester focused. Flavor aslo matches, highly estery. Which I appreciate, but I truly wish this had more wheat (any?) come through. Side note: this was my 100th rating in the Weizenvolker. stegosaurus (1882) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2006
Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours pale hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, banana, and spices. Flavor is smooth, bitter hops are present, spices, bananas, citrus. Good body, nice brew. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - JUN 14, 2006
Clear golden with a small white head - the only bit of cloudiness came from a couple drops of yeast. Clove and banana in the nose. Flavor has notes of citrus/lemon, clove, banana, flowers, wheat, spiciness and a surprising hop bitterness the finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Not much lacing or head retention. Not bad.
