Draught at Silvertone, 1/2/16.EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Clear, with a bit of a chill haze, initially. Soft, muted yellow-golden with a moderate amount of well-retained white head.
Heavily, heavily floral nose is quite enjoyably fragrant and allows just a pinch of lime-tangerine, as well. Very sparsely malted, as it should be, adding just slight cracker-like grains and maybe a touch of heathery-honey character. Clean and hoppy, though it doesn’t smell like any saaz I’ve ever smelled. Seems like something more going on here.
In the flavor, it’s heavily given over to the floral hop notes. Very light lavender suggestions, with a touch of mint and lemon. Sort of like the headiness of Prima Pils before that one got all resinous and aggressive. Very nicely attenuated, though still a fair amount of body to it. Ample carbonation. Maybe a bit heavy on the dry, floral character, but still quite drinkable and clean.
The beer pours a cloudy dark straw color with a medium white head. The aroma is packed full of hops (citrus and grassy) with underlying pils malts. The taste is slightly sweet with a lot of citrus hop flavor. The malt bill drinks lightly. The palate fuses a slick texture, light carbonation, and light body. Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grains, some light grass, and a little malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with cereal grain, crisp, mostly clean.

Bottle at home for patriots game. Surprised I haven’t had this before I think I always assumed I did o didn’t pick up. Fine cloudy pale yellow with white head. Nose is faint grass and yeast. Tastes of grass, bready, light lemon citrus, corn, yeast, some light pepper. Fine crisp palate. Very crushable. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2015
Keg at The Font, Chorlton. Pale golden shade. Two fingers of white head. Aroma of honey, lemon, green apple. Tastes of the same elements. Mildly bitter with a slight dryness. Pretty good. A bit distinct from a typical pils but no worse for it. egajdzis (6580) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of straw, pils malt, grass, and bread. Taste of toasted dough, bread, light grass, and a dry finish. jrodooo5 (1672) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - SEP 9, 2015
Best by 1/25/14. Pours bubbly gold w/ a foamy white head & spotty lacing. The aroma is of bread & malt. The taste is cereal, bread, & malt. It has an ok mouthfeel & overall is less than impressive quite possibly due to the age of the beer. Foxbush (2028) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 1, 2015
Draft at Mitchers The Pilsener poured a clear gold color with a nice 1 inch head and mild lacing. The aroma was mild sweet malt. The pilsener had a light body with soft carbonation. The taste was like a wheat beer, Not sure this is the formula for a good pils. The IBUs seem to be too low.
