COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Take a break from the Sturm und Drang of modern life, with this elegant, refreshing pilsner. Our brewers created Vunderbar! with both feet grounded in tradition, focusing on authentic German pilsner malt and spicy Czech Saaz hops. The result just might get you to shimmy into your favorite lederhosen, bust into a quick schuhplattler and loudly proclaim, “Das ist Vunderbar!” Formerly known as Shortbatch #11

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2015 Bottle into a chalice. Best by 08/25/2015 A: Deep dirty yellow. Maybe some chill haze. Half finger of tight white head. decent retention and leggy lacing S: Biscuit/half baked bread dough with herbal/floral hops. T: Sharp maltiness with herbal hops note almost all at once. Doughy malt flavor is most pronounced. Slight grain taste. Hops come in shortly after and linger on the dry finish. Very nice subtle balance M: Nice and not quite as light as I expected. Average but nice enjoyable level of carbonation feels good on the lips. Nice clean, dry, pleasant finish. O: I like this beer for its subtlety and good adherance to style. Looks, smells and tastes great without going over the top. One of my favorite pilsners.

On tap at Alibi, Seoul. Almost perfumy aroma with noble hops and hay. Clear straw under a thin white cover. Quite bitter lager flavour with pleasant soda cracker malt and some faint lemon. Light body, moderate carbonation, almost crisp.

Amarelo dourado, levemente turva por não ser filtrada, pouca espuma. Aromas de pão, levemente herbal e de gramíneos. Pouco sabor. A cerveja não estava mais nas suas melhores condições, para ser honesto. Corpo baixo. Final somente refrescante, Pouco amargor.

12 oz Bottle. Appearance is clear, yellow color with lots of foamy, off-white head. Aroma is mild grains, straw, and some grass. Taste is malty sweet, grain, grass hop bitterness. Palate is light-bodied, thin texture, somewhat watery, and a partially dry finish. Ok Pilsner but slightly too thin even for the style.

Not bad for a pilsener, which by definition cannot be great. Some grass and grain but over-carbonated.

Bottle. Not a big fan of this style but this one is pretty good. Cloudy gold color with a big head. Aroma with a will balanced grain smell. Taste is well balanced and tasty.
