3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass. 5.2% indicated on bottle.
A: Pours a lightly hazy straw color and a two fingers high white head. Its retention is good for the style, settling at one finger, and leaves spotty lacing on the glass. Even better is its creamy, frothy texture.
S: There are some nice zesty, grassy, even mildly sulphury hops here. Behind that lies a bit of cracker-like malt and even some sweetness. Typical but likable.
T: At first, I pick up touches of mild grassy hops, and later on the finish. Sandwiched between the two is a vaguely sweet malt backbone and even some citrusy qualities. Though the flavor profile doesn’t stick out, it’s certainly a well made and enjoyable version of the style. I could use even more hoppiness, though.
M: The dry finish helps balance its sweetness some, and is generally very easy to drink. I’d also call the carbonation level ’spot on’.
O: A solid pilsner. Hops could be more pronounced, but otherwise there’s little to complain about other than the lack of uniqueness - which isn’t a big deal, either.

Can shared with Jon, clear yellow golden with small white head. Notes of crisp pils malt, lager, wood, toast and grain. Refreshing and bitter at the same time from the saaz . Very nice pils. canary dog (774) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - JUN 29, 2017
Wow, this stuff is really good. Solid and authentic Pils rendering through what appears to be German malts and hops. The hops definitely taste Noble. A very fluffy beer with a fine fluffy head. Rich and smooth at the same time.....like any great German Pils or Hefe. No hints of DMS...another huge plus. This beer is closest to von Trapp Bohemian Pils than any other American Pils I’ve had. Very well done. balloonbuffoon (320) - - JUN 8, 2017
12floz bottle (BBD: 08.23.2017, $1.50), I’m not sure if the same beer as there isn’t an exclamation point in the beer’s name on this bottle (just kidding, I’m sure it is). This pilsner is in the German vein; straw in color and minimal foam, soil and grain aroma that provides a similar earthy, medium-light bodied palate. Tasty pils. trapped (3150) - New York, TURKEY - MAY 31, 2017

Not bad, but I usually like pilseners slightly more crisp than this. Has the honey and a little hint of the hops in the nose, but more of the grain comes through in the flavor.
