A hazy orange beer with a nice orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with fruity notes of oranges. The flavor is sweet hoppy with a good warming fealing from the alcohol, and then a dry hoppy end. Almost American in the interpretation - nice. joergen (28177) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2005

UPDATED: APR 4, 2008 Bottled. Deep amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is earth, herbs, some mild fruits, a bit alcohol and quite wooden. Also some burnt wooden notes are there. Flavour is really nutty along with some herbs, spices and fruits. Alcohol burning quite much.

Bottled. Chesntut brown. Big huge grapefruity cascade hop aroma. Rather sweet and really full bodied, but dominated by intense hoppiness. A very american style barley wine with a lingering hop bitter finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 3, 2008
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy, reddish amber with a beige head. Unusual aroma of wood and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied with notes of burned caramel and overripe fruit. Lightly bitter finish. 221108 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2009
25th May 2008. Cloudy brown beer. Lots of chocolatey malt leading to a hoppy but not bitter finish. Smooth and a little frothy. Well joined up and very moreish! cgarvieuk (24536) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 2, 2007
Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting ... Copper with that typical american hop nose ... Very tart hop ... lots of fruity hop and pine ... but not working for me. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2004
Cloudy amber color. Good, malty barleywine, less interesting in the aroma; strong bitterness, light fruitness, caramel, light liquorice, sweet body. Very good, strong. Thanks Jacob (Lövenlund) for this fine beer.
